Center for Technology Transfer team, which participates in the implementation of the DanubePeerChains project together with colleagues from the University of Belgrade, during September 2021 used the opportunity of participation in two separate events to promote the activities and goals of this project. Participants of both events were presented with the main goals of the project, activities implemented so far and plans for the next period, which together include changes aimed at digital business transformation, strengthening digital skills and knowledge and employment in accordance with smart specialization strategies.
Participants were also introduced to the possibility of involvement in activities within the project, which primarily means potential participation in trainings that will be conducted with the aim of training experts in the field of digitalization.
Center for Technology Transfer was part of the third China-CEEC SME Cooperation Forum, held on September 1 in Cangzhou, and broadcasted live internationally. The goal of the Forum is to develop new business opportunities, promote economic and trade cooperation and strengthen and expand digital formats and forms of cooperation. So far, Cangzhou has significantly strengthened its cooperation with European countries, focusing on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in the fields of modern science, technology and services, aviation, high-end manufacturing and green agriculture.
After the conference, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the goals of the DanubePeerChains project, focusing on the importance of digital skills, tools and services and their use in everyday business and expanding partnerships.
The University of Belgrade hosted and organized the second international UNIFood conference, which was held online, in Belgrade, on September 24 and 25, 2021. The conference highlights the importance of collaboration between academia and business and brought together technologists, researchers, nutritionists, engineers and entrepreneurs to share knowledge on the latest developments in food production, processing, sustainability and safety.
The second day of the conference was dedicated to the dialogue of companies and research institutions and the presentation of European projects and the opportunities they offer.
Dr. Nedeljko Milosavljevic, director of the Center for Technology Transfer, was the moderator of the panel on the topic of Assessing the potential of a business idea. On that occasion, he also spoke about the DanubePeerChains project and activities that will improve the employment process and system and give young professionals the opportunity to improve their digital skills and knowledge.
