19 Jan New Support Program – Smart Start
The Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia has launched a new support program – Smart Start, for teams and micro-enterprises that want to confirm that they are on the right path to conquer the market.
Smart Start is intended for the development of the first prototype or MVP. Within this program, the Fund provides financial and mentoring support, which will help conduct the first phase of market research, product development, establish a business model and begin preparations for the next phase of fundraising. Grants of up to 30,000 euros are available to teams and micro-enterprises for individual projects. Funding provided by the Fund cannot exceed 90% of the total budget of the project being applied for. In addition, grants of up to 5,000 euros have been provided for mentoring sessions.
Thanks to the funds from the national budget, a total of one million euros was allocated from the section of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development to support young teams and companies.
