16 Nov Mentors, we need you! Public call for enterprise consulting is opened
Institute for entrepreneurship and economic development (IPER) published a call for 10 mentors. Their engagement with non-governmental organizations will be guide lined within Smart Start project and focused on developing NGOs business ideas.
Project is conducted in: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Main focus of the project is on social entrepreneurship and sustainability of that kind of business. In order to realize the project goals, EU donated certain financial means as a way of supporting these activities. Mentors are expected to establish a partnership with an NGO on a volunteer basis. Primary role of any mentor is to provide support and advice based on their extensive experience, to the NGO, related to its business idea. Mentor’s tenure would last 12 months.
In order to participate, mentor has to fulfill the following criteria:
- He/She needs to have extensive experience when it comes to leading and guiding small or mid-size business
- To understand the daily challenges that every NGO faces
- He/she needs to be ready to share its vast knowledge
- He/She needs to have a positive outlook regarding NGO ideas and stance
