23 Oct Big Boost for the academic institutions-WIPO IP Toolkit!
In order to facilitate work for those who deal with identification, legal protection and commercialization of intellectual property at universities, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) created the “WIPO IP Toolkit”
Two sets of documents are available for users:
- Volume 1: comprises the IP policy template, guidelines for customization of the IP policy template, and the policy writers’ checklist. This will help users create policy at the institutional level in order to commercialize that institutions intellectual property;
- Volume 2: contains the academic intellectual assets map, models of agreements, and hypothetical cases, which provides help to users in order to identify potential challenges during intellectual property commercialization process.
In order to emphasise the importance of this tool, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia and the Technology Transfer Centre University of Belgrade will organize a seminar during which the participants will be able to hear more about tool’s importance and how it is used.
This is an ideal opportunity for you to acquire practical skills, which later on can help you during the process of innovation commercialization.
Seminar venue is: Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia building (Knjeginje Ljubice 5, street, Belgrade).
