04 Sep Apply for Participation at the Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region
The 6th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, taking place on 18-19 October 2017 in Budapest, is jointly organised by Hungary (current Presidency of the EUSDR), the European Commission and the Danube Transnational Programme under the title ‘A secure, connected and prospering Danube Region’. The Forum will emphasise the different challenges related to, and perspectives of, energy security, transportation development, clean connectivity issues, spatial data infrastructures and financing opportunities. The key question to answer will be how to best transform political commitments into operational policies and measures.
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission is offering costs reimbursement to researchers (age up to 45) from the Enlargement countries (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, FYROM, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo* and Turkey) and Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) to participate in the event. The support covers travel expenses and accommodation.
The support will be granted on the basis of the following criteria:
- Age up to 45 years
- Scientific and professional achievements (in particular related to energy security, transportation development, clean connectivity data infrastructures in the Danube macro-region)
- Number and quality of scientific and professional publications;
- Number and quality of projects and activities (related to the Danube macro-region) the applicant has participated in and on-going projects and actions.
