Adidas and Nike innovations boost the boundaries of human endurance

Thanks to innovation less than 2 hours for marathon race

The Companies Adidas and Nike started the race in the pushing limits of human endurance, with the help of technological innovation.

Marathon world-record holder is a Kenyan Dennis Kimetto. He ran a distance of 42.195 m for fascinating 2h 2min 57s, in Berlin in 2014. It’s been almost three years, and a world is still asking what are the limits of human endurance, and whether it is possible to run a marathon distance under the magic limit of 2h.

Many think that this is simply impossible time for humans. The leading companies in the production of running shoes, such as Adidas and Nike, still do not agree with that. They started the race for technological innovation in the production of shoes that will move this magical limit.

Late last year, Nike patented a revolutionary “spring plate” technology and protected the line of sneakers with “spring plate” sole which they believe will allow elite marathoners to decrease the two-hour limit for 2 to 5 minutes.

In public appeared news that Adidas had been working on the same plan. Still, the German giant has been keeping it a secret, but what we do know is that the last world record in marathon had been achieved in sneakers with Boost technology, owned by Adidas.

For now, we are left to keep track of which innovation will be faster this time.
The answer is maybe in the next marathon!
